#842 Ollie Llamas Panniers

430 denier coated pack cloth with ballistic cloth on bottom and outside broad pocket, which is part of the protective flap. 7 lbs. 20"x 16" x 10". 

Inside the pannier, enclosed in a zippered compartment, is a firm, closed-cell foam pad which protects the llama's side from any bumpy objects in the pack. A cord-lock draw string gathers the opening of the pannier together, while the 2" wide adjustable strap supports and compresses the load. The top flap is held down securely with Fastex buckles at the lower front corners and Velcro strips at the upper corners. The large exterior gusseted pocket holds maps, water bottles, camera, jacket, the llama's stake pin and stake line, and rain cover. When needed, the rain cover is snapped into D-rings at the lower back corners.

The pannier is suspended by an aluminum rod which fits into wire brackets on the Ollie Llamas saddle. A loop-strap attached to the rod provides a carrying handle. Two straps on the top of each pannier make top-loading of extra items a simple matter. By the simple addition of straps looped around two points on the rod, you can also use these panniers on various rigid-frame packs .
