All clinics are held at Rocky Mountain Llamas, just north of Boulder, CO.
In case of bad weather, attendees will be notified of alternate dates.

Basic Training Clinic with Bobra Goldsmith : Training Llamas and Alpacas for Willing Cooperation (1 day)
New to llamas or alpacas, or just want to learn some new techniques? Planning to take your llama or alpaca to show? This one-day clinic is great for all levels: for preparing novices or honing the skills of experienced handlers! This clinic demonstrates proven, gentle and very efficient methods for handling and training llamas and alpacas from weanlings to adults. These techniques and principles will allow you to manage and handle your animals easily and safely on a day-to-day basis, training them to be willing and cooperative. Pack Training Clinic and Hike (2 days)
Interested in packing? Did you know that one llama can carry an entire campsite for a family of four?! Although most people would think only of packing llamas, it's entirely feasible to throw a lunch pack on an alpaca for day or lunch hikes. Or maybe you will be taking your llamas or alpacas to shows this season and want to improve their performance skills. This weekend clinic will cover selecting a pack lama, choosing and loading the equipment, training the lama and handler, using a pack string, and much more. And that's just the first day! On Sunday, the clinic includes a full-day hands-on lunch hike with numerous stream crossings to give you and your lama some first-hand experience.
