Niwot Nostalgia Days Parade; Sept. 11, Niwot CO Contact us if you'd like to join and walk llamas with us in this fun little parade. Come in costume or not. Parade participants meet here at Rocky Mountain Llamas at 8:30 a.m. to groom and load llamas. We need to be in Niwot, which is about five minutes from here, at 9:30 a.m. If you can't join us to walk in the parade, we hope you can come to be part of the viewing crowd! Niwot 4th of July Parade: Join us on Saturday for the Niwot CO 4th of July Parade! Call 303.530.5575 for details. Jim Krowka's Get Connected! Workshop: The workshop was a huge success! We hadn't been to one before, so we were as curious and eager as everyone else. We learned some remarkable techniques for not only new training of llamas, but for working with llamas and alpacas that exhibit behavioral challenges such as aggression or extreme fear. We will definitely be inviting Jim back next year. If you came to the first one, we encourage you to return and hone your newly learned skills and further develop them. If you didn't make it this time, we strongly encourage you to take advantage of the opportunity in 2010. Video from the workshop will be posted on YouTube. Check back for links.
