#102 Three-Way Adjustable Trail Halter

These trail halters come with our new Hefty Quick Clip, which is handy for everyday around the farm, and is strong enough for use on the trail; or the clip is easily removed for greater security on the trail and a tidier look, as shown on this llama. Lightweight, but strong, double-stitched polypropylene is non-irritating even during long pack trips. Hefty Quick Clip supplied but may be removed. Halter shown without Quick Clip.

Tip: Be sure to adjust your trail halter so that the noseband sits high on the llama's nose. At the same time, be sure that the noseband is loose enough so it does not tighten around the chin when the llama chews or yawns. Remember, a pack llama must be able to eat easily and be comfortable on the trail if he is to work well.
